Week 8!!!

Hello everyone! This week we were challenged to think abot our obstacles and express them in a creative way. I drew out a few of my obstacles and couldn't help but be influenced by the prompt and draw myself in the middle. I drew myself as a tree, I think because I see myself as always growing and needing to learn new things. Around me I drew little bubbles with pictures of my obstacles. For example, one of my obstacles was a picture of a house because I am now away from my home it causes me stress and uneasiness. Another picture was that of a computer with a paper and pens. This represented the fact that I am taking online courses and do not have the in-class instruction that teachers give. The last picture I'd like to discuss was that of a clock because I feel like time is an inevitable thing that must be worked with, and I have not been doing so well lately. Thanks for reading!

  1. Jasmine, I know you're away from home and that can be hard. I just want you to know there are many of us who wish you the best and want you to be successful. Keep plugging along and I'm following your posts in our classes and you're doing well. Don't lose sight of your goal. Although it seems like it will be forever until you're home again, it is but a small part of your life that will build your confidence so the next time you're faced with struggles, you'll be able to remember your success during this time and use it to help you get through.

  2. Great job Jasmine! I drew time as well... I can't believe we are past the half way mark this semester already. At this rate we will be walking across the stage in our caps and gowns next week! Your honesty in all of your posts is beautiful :) Thank you for sharing.
